About
Helogen’s Orbital Bio-Labs are fully automated, AI-driven factories designed to operate in space. The primary purpose of these orbital facilities is to produce high-value biomaterials that are difficult or impossible to create with the same purity, yield, and scale under Earth’s gravity. By removing the limitations of gravity, these factories aim to unlock new materials and medicines, contributing to human and planetary health, superior performance, and a new carbon-positive economy. Helogen envisions these bio-labs as the first step towards entire orbital manufacturing complexes, fostering a ‘post-gravity age’ of industrial production. They collaborate with government institutions, global research organizations, universities, biotech labs, and orbital partners (commercial space stations, orbital infrastructure providers) to accelerate the development and implementation of these off-world manufacturing technologies.
