About

The HEMERIA SPARTA-G70 is a satellite platform specifically designed for developing services in geostationary orbit. It is optimized for these orbits and described as a ‘nanosatellite patrouilleur’ (patrol nanosatellite). The platform has a compact size of 460 × 600 × 340 mm and a platform mass of 50 kg. It can accommodate a maximum payload mass of 15-20 kg and a maximum payload volume greater than 70U. The SPARTA-G70 features a battery capacity of 216 Wh, providing an average payload power of 100W and a peak power of 200W. It also supports MEGS up to 200W. Communication capabilities include an S-band uplink at 10 kbps and a downlink at 10 kbps (S-band) and 10 Mbps (X-Band). The platform offers a Delta-V greater than 250 m/s, with four thrusters each providing 3.2 mN of thrust. Attitude control is precise, with a position accuracy of 10 to 20 m, movement accuracy of 1 mm/s to 2 mm/s, attitude pointing error of 0.04° to 3°, and attitude knowledge error of 0.02° to 3°. Data storage for the payload is 28 GB (basic) with an optional additional 32 GB. The mission lifetime is stated to be greater than 3 years. The platform supports various SCAO pointing modes including Geocentric, Sun, Target, Inertial, Polynomial, and Payload-derived.
