The HWA-YL100 is a tipping-bucket rain gauge for automatic rainfall measurement. Rainwater enters through the top catchment, flows through a funnel into the tipping bucket, and when the accumulated volume reaches a set threshold (e.g. 0.2 mm), the bucket tips and triggers a count. Each tip generates an electrical pulse for data recording and transmission.
