Modular Deployment Sequencer (MDS)

The Modular Deployment Sequencer (MDS) is engineered for precision, reliability, and flexibility in satellite deployment. It serves as a crucial interface between launch vehicles and deployer systems, guaranteeing accurate satellite release. The system incorporates dual redundancy to effectively mitigate single-point risks, enhancing mission success. Powered by an internal Lithium-Ion battery, the MDS activates upon receiving a valid command from the Launch Vehicle (LV). Once activated, it executes preprogrammed deployment sequences, signaling deployer systems and their doors. It ensures that satellites deploy at their preset times and collects separation confirmations. This critical data is then relayed back to the LV, providing essential mission assurance. The MDS is designed to be a robust and dependable solution for managing the complex process of satellite deployment.
