About
KAIDA manufactures precision hyperboloid socket contacts (springtac contacts) for military-grade circular connectors. Hyperboloid contacts consist of multiple fine wire strands arranged in a hyperboloid geometry, providing superior electrical performance, lower insertion force, and longer cycle life compared to conventional slotted or bifurcated contacts.
Contacts are made from C28000 copper alloy or equivalent per customer specification, with gold plating (0.2-1.27 um) or silver plating. Multiple socket variants cover different contact body diameters for standard military connector series. Custom current ratings and dimensional specifications are available on request.
