KOMPSAT-6 (Korean Multi-Purpose Satellite-6), also known as Arirang-6, is South Korea’s next-generation X-band SAR Earth observation satellite developed by KARI. It is the successor to KOMPSAT-5, offering improved synthetic aperture radar imaging performance for all-weather, day-and-night Earth monitoring.
