About
The MAI-400 ADACS is a compact 1/2U Attitude Determination and Control System designed for small satellites, including CubeSats. It offers a complete, stand-alone, and plug-and-play solution for attitude control. The system integrates three reaction wheels for precise pointing, a 3-axis magnetometer for magnetic field sensing, and a 2-camera Earth Horizon Sensor (EHS) for Earth-relative attitude determination. Additionally, it includes three torque rods for magnetic torqueing and an ADACS computer to manage all these components. The MAI-400 is compatible with CubeSat form factors and can be strategically placed at either the bottom or top of a CubeSat stack. It also features cable channels to accommodate customer cable routing, referred to as “Free-Arounds.” The product is available with various configuration options to meet different mission requirements.
