About
The NanoUtil MSP-FPP is a compact Flight Preparation Panel specifically designed for 6U nano-satellites. It is intended for use in conjunction with the GomSpace NanoPower MSP. The panel features connectors on the top of the PCB that are accessible from the exterior of the satellite, while connectors on the bottom are used to interface with other internal subsystems. It can establish a connection to the GomSpace P60 system and is utilized for charging battery packs, such as the BPX. The MSP-FFP PCB is mounted on a utility plate that can be affixed to a frame. This plate also has provisions for mounting a small GPS antenna and a Fine Sun Sensor. When installed on the side of a satellite, the plate and pins protrude slightly. Key features include easy integration with other GomSpace products, three USB connectors for connecting to three other sub-modules inside the satellite, a CAN interface, a kill switch (on/off), battery voltage sensing pins, a satellite charging interface, and Remove Before Flight (RBF) pins. It also includes a USB Hub with ESD and noise protection. The PCB material is glass/polyimide, and it adheres to IPC-A-610 class 3 assembly standards.
