About
The NanoStruct 16U provides the freedom to build bigger missions with more room for payloads, power, and technology. It offers high reliability and design flexibility, accelerating your path to orbit and unlocking new possibilities for advanced satellite applications. This structure provides up to 13U dedicated to payload. It is based on GomSpace’s new modular systems, which provide professional 6U and larger platforms for commercial missions with high demands for payload space and orbit control. All GomSpace satellite structures are engineered to offer a versatile array of internal and external mechanical interfaces, allowing for seamless integration of diverse components such as payloads, antennas, solar panels, and internal subsystems. This modular approach enhances adaptability across mission profiles and simplifies assembly, maintenance, and future upgrades. The 16U structure is ideal for supporting very high-power requirements and can be mixed with your own platform subsystems or those from other vendors. It also supports the integration of Optical downlinks or payloads and allows for the use of secondary structures for pre-assembly and testing of payloads. Applications include technology demonstration missions, large science missions, and commercial missions. The structure is made from Aluminum 7075, with hard anodised rails and Surtec 650 TCP structure.
