About

NexTenna S is NexTenna’s space-segment antenna solution, a steerable directional reflector antenna (DRA) built on the company’s zero-power field-effect phase shifter technology. The system is optimized for satellite applications requiring extremely low weight and power, supporting satellite-to-ground or inter-satellite link (ISL) communications. Unlike conventional deployable reflectors or phased arrays, NexTenna S combines electronic steerability with a flat, compact physical profile, eliminating the need for mechanical gimbal systems in orbit. The low mass and power draw make it suitable for SmallSat and CubeSat platforms with constrained budgets.
