About
Project AROM is Omspace’s single-stage sub-orbital sounding rocket — the vehicle that made history in 2026 as the first privately developed rocket to be successfully test-fired from Gujarat soil. Launched from Bavaliyari near the Dholera space hub, AROM was developed entirely in India with support from IN-SPACe, the Airports Authority of India, the DGCA, and the Indian Coast Guard. The rocket represents a key stepping stone in Omspace’s development roadmap toward its orbital-class Infinity One vehicle and demonstrates the company’s end-to-end aerospace manufacturing capabilities including composite structures and propulsion systems.
