About
LinkX is the core software product of Orbit:Linx, a decentralized scheduling platform that uses distributed ledger technology and smart contracts to integrate public and private satellite ground stations into a single marketplace. Ground station operators can analyze, organize and tokenize their active and idle antenna time, while satellite operators can discover and book communication windows without relying on manual, centrally brokered coordination. LinkX was developed by Spacebit in partnership with Goonhilly Earth Station and entered beta testing on the EOSIO blockchain platform, with the team also evaluating IOTA-based architectures.
