The OrbitArch LiDAR Payload is a compact, customizable hardware package that brings OrbitArch’s collision-avoidance capability directly onboard a customer’s satellite. Using a next-generation LiDAR-enhanced tracking system, the payload can detect debris objects as small as 1 centimeter.
The payload includes an onboard AI processing unit with neural networks for real-time decision-making, and its modular design allows it to be customized to specific mission requirements. It can be integrated during a satellite’s design and manufacturing process for protection from launch onward, or retrofitted to existing operational satellites via optional hardware modules alongside software updates.
