About
OUFTI-1 (Orbital Utility For Telecom Innovation) is Belgium first CubeSat, developed by students at the University of Liege. Launched on April 25, 2016 aboard a Soyuz rocket from Kourou, French Guiana as part of ESA Fly Your Satellite programme, OUFTI-1 carries a D-STAR digital amateur radio repeater payload for amateur radio communications testing.
