About

OmniSat provides a unique service for space industry participants by offering shared satellite resources for hosting various types of payloads. It allows users to host physical sensors and other hardware payloads on a shared satellite platform, enabling access to space without the need for a dedicated satellite. Additionally, OmniSat supports the deployment and execution of software workloads directly on the satellite’s onboard compute servers. This capability allows for in-space data processing, analytics, and other software-defined missions. The platform aims to provide a scalable solution for both hardware and software customers. The first demonstration mission, Clustergate-1, flew in March 2025, validating the company’s computer stack and software for hosting multiple payloads and operating them on a shared platform. This mission served as a precursor to the full-scale compute server offering.
