About
SaxaVord Spaceport is the UK northernmost spaceport, located on Unst island in the Shetland archipelago, Scotland. The spaceport provides launch services for small satellites targeting polar and sun-synchronous orbits, exploiting its high latitude (60.7 degrees North) to enable direct insertion into SSO without costly plane-change maneuvers. SaxaVord is licensed by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and is designed to serve small launch vehicles including Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA), HyImpulse, and Skyrora.
