About
Southern Launch provides bespoke space mission services encompassing orbital launch, sub-orbital missions, orbital re-entries, and range services. For orbital launches, they offer direct ascent trajectories from 55 to 177 degrees, including polar, sun-synchronous, and 135-degree inclination orbits, launching from the Whalers Way Orbital Launch Complex. This service aims to maximize spacecraft payload to orbit. They operate two spaceports for sub-orbital missions, supporting activities like launch vehicle development testing, microgravity experimentation, and hypersonic flight. Southern Launch also offers an end-to-end service for orbital re-entries, providing flexibility for return over land to the Koonibba Test Range or over water. Additionally, they provide range services at the Koonibba Test Range, which spans over 41,000 square kilometers of secure, uninhabited land, suitable for testing and validating cutting-edge technology. Southern Launch manages approvals and range management to facilitate complex mission testing.
