About

The Space Micro NanoCom-500™ is a high-performance variant of the NanoCom software defined radio family, offering 500 Mbps throughput capability in a miniaturized 1U form factor. Like the NanoCom, it is built around a Xilinx Zynq System-on-a-Chip (SoC) and is designed for reliable operation in extreme space environments. The NanoCom-500 is programmable on-orbit and features modular waveform architecture, supporting flexible modulation, channel frequency and data rate configuration without hardware changes. It supports encryption, network protocols and on-board storage. The NanoCom-500 is intended for missions requiring higher data throughput than the standard NanoCom, including high-rate downlink and inter-satellite link applications. Now listed under Voyager Technologies following the acquisition of Space Micro by Voyager Space.
