About
The Space Micro NanoCom™ is a miniaturized (1U), quick-to-field, cost-effective Software Defined Radio designed to perform in extreme environmental conditions. It is programmable on-orbit and contains a Xilinx Zynq System-on-a-Chip (SoC) whose large availability of programmable logic resources supports sophisticated waveform algorithms. NanoCom supports encryption, network protocols and on-board storage. Its modular design provides flexibility in modulation, channel frequency and data rate — all adjustable on-orbit without hardware modifications. NanoCom can be configured for narrowband or wideband operation, making it suitable for a wide range of satellite communication missions. Now listed under Voyager Technologies following the acquisition of Space Micro by Voyager Space.
