About

CubeLabs are standardized hardware platforms developed by Space Tango for automated research and development (R&D) and manufacturing in remote environments, particularly in space. These platforms are designed to facilitate the translation of Earth-based scientific investigations to the space environment, serving as the foundation for data collection and manufacturing activities in orbit. The size of CubeLabs is scalable, depending on the specific scientific objectives, with Space Tango continuously developing new hardware that extends beyond 9U configurations. Key features include a thermal control subsystem, specifically a cold flask, capable of maintaining temperatures as low as 4℃, which is crucial for experiments requiring precise temperature regulation throughout their duration. Automation within CubeLabs is managed by built-in flight computers. These flight computers are engineered to provide the entire automated control architecture for the experiments and are also responsible for delivering data to partners in near-real time.
