SpaceTIS Water-Based Propulsion System

SpaceTIS is developing an innovative thruster system that uses only water and other volatile materials as propellant for spacecraft and rockets. The technology is designed for use in both launch vehicles and in-space propulsion for satellites and spacecraft. The water-based propulsion system is projected to be faster than ion propulsion and more efficient than chemical propulsion systems, requiring more than 5x less propellant to reach target orbits. Applications include satellite orbit-raising, asteroid rendezvous, and deep-space missions.
