About
SpeQtral-1 is Singapore first quantum key distribution satellite, developed by SpeQtral to demonstrate space-based quantum cryptography. The satellite generates entangled photon pairs and transmits quantum keys to ground stations, enabling provably secure communications that cannot be intercepted without detection. SpeQtral-1 aims to establish Singapore as a hub for quantum-secure satellite communications in Asia Pacific.
