The uLCT Laser Communication Terminal is a complete solution comprising an optical modem, optical power amplifiers, pointing, acquisition and tracking (PAT) electronics and a Single Aperture Optical Head Assembly capable of providing full duplex GEO-to-GEO crosslinks at 80,000 km. Based on space-qualified, Telcordia-grade 1550 nm telecom components, it can be used as an OISL (Optical Inter-Satellite Link), a spacecraft-to-ground link, or a spacecraft-to-UAV link. Applications: LEO, MEO and GEO; constellation crosslinks; single hop data delivery; space-based data aggregation.
