About
Unseenlabs is developing its second-generation satellite constellation, transitioning from nanosatellites to microsatellites to deliver expanded power, reach, and detection capabilities. The next-generation architecture extends the company’s proven RF geolocation technology into new surveillance domains beyond the maritime environment — including land-based RF emitter detection, space domain monitoring, and GNSS Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) characterization for critical infrastructure protection.
The upgraded constellation is designed to deliver enhanced revisit rates, increased data accuracy, and broader frequency spectrum monitoring compared to the current generation. Multiband collection capabilities will be significantly expanded, enabling simultaneous detection of a wider range of signal types in a single satellite pass. This evolution positions Unseenlabs to serve as a multi-domain RF intelligence provider, moving beyond maritime domain awareness to cover land and space environments that are increasingly contested.
GNSS interference detection and characterization is a key new capability, addressing growing concerns about jamming and spoofing of satellite navigation signals near conflict zones and around critical infrastructure such as airports, ports, and offshore energy installations. The service will allow operators to detect, localize, and characterize sources of GNSS disruption from orbit, providing global coverage independent of ground-based sensor networks.
This roadmap represents Unseenlabs’ strategic evolution as a pioneer in space-based RF intelligence, building on a track record of operational maritime surveillance across government, commercial, and NGO customers in over a dozen nations.
