2U CubeSat developed by Ventspils University of Applied Sciences and partners in Latvia. Launched in June 2017 aboard a PSLV rocket, Venta-1 carries an AIS (Automatic Identification System) receiver for maritime traffic monitoring and a ADCS experiment, making it Latvia’s first satellite.
