KRYTAR Zero Bias Schottky Detectors are inline coaxial barrel connector packages engineered for use in high-performance microwave instrumentation and systems. These detectors are suitable for a wide range of applications including power measurements, analyzing radar performance, leveling pulsed signal sources, AM noise measurements, system monitoring, and pulsed RF measurements in broadband, 5G, and mm-Wave applications. The KRYTAR Model 203 Series Detectors feature a minimum frequency of 10 MHz and a maximum frequency of 40 GHz, with a frequency response of ±0.5 dB to 20 GHz, ±0.8 dB to 26.5 GHz, and ±1.5 dB to 40 GHz. They offer 50 ohm matched inputs, resulting in an excellent maximum VSWR of 1.35 to 20 GHz, 1.5 to 26.5 GHz, and 2.0 to 40 GHz. The detectors provide a Negative Output Polarity (Positive Output Polarity is available by adding a “P” to the model number) and a Low Voltage Sensitivity of 0.5 mV/µW typical. They can withstand maximum input power levels up to 100 mW. The operating temperature range is from -54°C to +100°C. The compact and rugged cylindrical package includes an industry standard 3.5mm Input Connector. The 203 Series also offers models with 2.4 mm and 2.92 mm “K” Input Connectors. Output connector options include SMA Female (Model 203A, 203AK), BNC (Model 203B, 203BK), and SMC Jack (Model 203S, 203SK), with varying lengths and a consistent diameter of 0.4 inches. KRYTAR detectors are ideal for use in MIL-Spec environments requiring precision test and measurement in instrumentation, subsystem assemblies, radar or missile guidance systems, and lab testing.
