Radiation Testing and Qualification

StarSpec provides radiation testing services for Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) based electronics intended for space applications. This service leverages their proprietary Modified-COTS approach and is conducted in collaboration with Canada’s TRIUMF radiation test facility. The goal is to demonstrate the suitability of these modified COTS components for modern Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) applications and to standardize and streamline the space technology development process, targeting a 1-3 month timeline from concept to qualification. This includes testing components like motor controllers, servos, and sub-orbital control boards.
