About this service
UCD provides extensive support for research and innovation, guiding researchers from the initial idea phase through to project closure. This includes assistance with identifying funding opportunities, engaging partners, writing and reviewing proposals (including Horizon Europe and large-scale programmes), preparing and approving budgets, and managing contract negotiations. During project execution, services cover award registration, recruitment, procurement, ethical approval, export control, data management planning, establishing governance structures, periodic reporting to funders, financial and stakeholder management, and team development. Post-project, support extends to impact planning, capture, communication, public engagement, commercialisation, consultancy, final reporting, data archiving, and account closure.
