Satellite Broadband Network Connectivity

Amazon Leo (formerly Project Kuiper) offers a satellite broadband network service designed to extend fast, reliable internet access to billions of people and millions of businesses, governments, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. This service utilizes a constellation of over 3,000 satellites in low Earth orbit, connected by high-speed optical links and communicating with a secure global network of gateway stations, fiber, and internet connection points on the ground. Customers connect using compact, high-performance antennas (Leo Nano, Leo Pro, and Leo Ultra) to receive high-speed, low-latency broadband virtually anywhere on the planet. The full-scale deployment began in April 2025, with service expected to start in 2026.
