Curvalux 2 Active Antenna (WiFi 5-6.4 GHz)
World's most advanced WiFi 5-6.4 GHz active antenna with 8x2 MIMO multi-beam architecture
Description
Curvalux 2 is described by the company as the world's most advanced active antenna covering the WiFi 5-6.4 GHz band, using an 8x2 MIMO configuration built on Curvalux's patented wide-area, low-power, multi-beam phased-array antenna technology. The system is designed to work with any number of baseband communications technologies and has been extensively tested by the Curvalux team in concert with globally leading telecommunications companies using both WiFi 5 and WiFi 6 access points and end-user devices. Field testing and customer feedback have driven multiple design iterations to improve performance and resiliency, and the current design is ready for commercial deployment. In anechoic chamber testing, each of the system's 16 beams demonstrated a minimum of 18 dB isolation from all other side lobes, exceeding the isolation performance of standard parabolic antennas. Curvalux 2 has been deployed and proof-of-concept tested globally, including installations in Hong Kong (AirspaceIX facilities, >150 Mbps to smartphones over 1.2 km), Jakarta/West Java Indonesia (100 Mbps sustained over 2 km between Edge Nodes), Manila Philippines (2 Gbps aggregate throughput across all 16 beams at 100W total power draw), Las Vegas USA (400+ Mbps to WiFi 6 smartphones at 1 km), Semirara Island Philippines (rural village broadband over 100 Mbps), Kuwait, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia (20 Mbps at 17-20 km range) and Selangor Malaysia (300+ Mbps to a CPE 8 km from the tower).
