DALRO Aerospace

DALRO Aerospace Co., Ltd. (주회사달로에어로스페이스) is a South Korean company based in Daejeon that specializes in launch services for CubeSats and small satellites. The company designs and manufactures satellite deployers ("PODs") used to mount, fix, and separate small satellites from launch vehicles, and also offers environmental testing and other launch-support procedures tailored to customer needs. DALRO works with launch partners across multiple countries, including Japan, the United States, and Europe, to provide a broad selection of launch vehicle options and customized launch services for its customers.

The company was founded in April 2023 by CEO Yoon Dan-ha, an aerospace engineering graduate, with a focus on lightweight, stable satellite deployer technology. Its product development has emphasized two priorities: mass/thickness reduction (lightweighting) and stability, particularly minimizing satellite rotation during the ejection process, which is a key factor in successful satellite deployment. DALRO received technical mentoring through the Daejeon Technopark's veteran scientist/engineer consulting program, working with a mentor who spent 35 years in launch vehicle structural R&D at the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI).

In 2025, DALRO Aerospace signed a mission services agreement with Perigee Aerospace (a Korean small-launch-vehicle company) to conduct an in-space environmental test of one of DALRO's satellite deployers aboard a suborbital variant of Perigee's Blue Whale 1 upper stage, with the test flight targeted for the second half of that year. DALRO is also recruiting additional test-launch partners for upcoming flights of its POD product line planned for 2027, and has been recognized with Korea's "venture company" (벤처기업) certification. The company continues to seek investors, including through Korea's TIPS program, and is actively hiring structural/mechanical engineers.
