Galileo-1 VSPU (Visual Sensing and Processing Unit)
Award-winning quantum-sensing camera with the fastest onboard vision AI — 20x further object detection than CMOS/CCD, 1000x faster processing via photonic computing.
Description
Galileo-1 is an award-winning camera achieving object detection at 20x further distance than any current optical sensor (CMOS/CCD) using proprietary quantum sensing technology. It performs object detection and classification 1000x faster than conventional GPU/VPU+CMOS sensor combinations, while being 1000x more energy efficient via photonic computing. Developed in partnership with NASA (intended to fit the Habitable Worlds Observatory) and DARPA (for Space Domain Awareness, including daytime tracking, coronagraph applications, and sub-diffraction tracking).
