Description
The n-ART ST 1U is the smallest member of Gumush's n-ART star tracker family, designed for CubeSat and small satellite missions where mass and volume budgets are extremely constrained. At just 0.1 kg, the 1U variant provides autonomous attitude determination via star field recognition, feeding precise pointing knowledge to the spacecraft's attitude determination and control system. The n-ART family shares a common design heritage across its 1U, 2U, and 3U variants, allowing mission designers to select the unit that best matches their pointing accuracy and budget requirements while maintaining interface compatibility across the product line. Gumush, a Turkish space technology company, also produces the n-ART EPS electric power subsystem family using super-capacitor energy storage for improved life-cycle performance over conventional battery-based systems.
