The n-ART ST 2U is the mid-size variant of Gumush’s n-ART star tracker family, balancing mass, power, and performance for small satellite and microsatellite attitude determination applications. At 0.2 kg, the 2U unit provides higher optical aperture and improved star-detection sensitivity relative to the 1U variant while remaining compact enough for nanosatellite and microsatellite buses. The star tracker performs autonomous attitude determination by imaging and identifying star fields, delivering precise three-axis pointing knowledge to the spacecraft ADCS.
