About Independence-X Aerospace

Independence-X Aerospace is a Malaysian private NewSpace transportation-systems company founded to develop Malaysia's first commercial launch vehicle and space re-entry capabilities. The company is developing the DNLV (Domino Next Launch Vehicle), an orbital-class small launch vehicle, alongside the MERCAP (Microgravity Experimental Re-entry Capsule) — a re-entry vehicle designed to enable in-space experiments with sample return.

The company gained early international recognition through the Google Lunar X Prize competition and has been covered by Bloomberg TV Malaysia, CNET, and various European and Singaporean media. It has received nominations for the World Technology Award (2014) and Pioneer Award (2016).

In addition to its own vehicles, Independence-X runs the GerhanaSAT Challenge — a student satellite engineering competition that has engaged Malaysian youth in hands-on satellite development, telemetry, and autonomous docking challenges.
