About ISS Reshetnev

ISS Reshetnev (Academician M.F. Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems, JSC Information Satellite Systems) is Russia's leading manufacturer of telecommunications, navigation, and scientific satellites. Founded in 1959 in Zheleznogorsk (Krasnoyarsk-26), the company was established as a branch of OKB-1 and has since become the primary developer of Russian geostationary and navigation spacecraft.

The company is responsible for the design and production of GLONASS navigation satellites — Russia's global navigation satellite system (analogous to GPS). ISS Reshetnev manufactures all GLONASS-M and GLONASS-K satellites and is developing the next-generation GLONASS-K2 constellation. In addition, ISS Reshetnev produces the Express series of high-throughput geostationary telecommunications satellites for RSCC (Russian Satellite Communications Company).

With over 60 years of space heritage and more than 1,300 spacecraft launched, ISS Reshetnev is a cornerstone of Russia's space infrastructure. The company employs approximately 9,000 specialists and has delivered satellites to customers including Gazprom Space Systems, Intelsat (in partnership), and various Russian state operators.

ISS Reshetnev is also developing the Express-AMU family and next-generation high-throughput satellites to support Russia's expanding broadband satellite ambitions.
