LatConnect 60 (LC60)

LatConnect 60 (LC60) is a vertically integrated Australian space and AI company founded in 2019 and headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, with additional offices in Kuala Lumpur, Abu Dhabi, New Delhi, and Newark, Delaware. The company controls the full value chain — satellite design, manufacturing, on-orbit operations, AI-driven analytics, and data delivery — centered on its proprietary EONET60 mission control and analytics architecture.

LC60's core technology is Short-Wave Infrared (SWIR) imaging, a spectral band that penetrates smoke, haze, dust, and fog where conventional optical and even some SAR sensors struggle, while still producing intuitive, photograph-like imagery. Its flagship SWIRSAT constellation is being designed to deliver sub-1 metre resolution across an extended spectral range to 2400nm. Two initial SWIRSAT satellites are scheduled to launch in Q1 2027, with plans to scale to an 18-satellite constellation and eventually a 100-satellite network by 2035.

The company serves both defence/intelligence customers (Five Eyes, NATO, and Indo-Pacific allies) and commercial sectors including national agriculture (via its Agrow60 platform), carbon and climate MRV, and oil, gas and resources monitoring. LC60 has received early funding support from the Australian Space Agency and the Western Australian Government, holds ISO 27001 certification, and reports post-revenue status with active government and commercial contracts.
