Description
ALBIREO is MIPRONS' advanced evolution of the ALEXIUS platform, designed to consolidate attitude control, orbit changes, and other maneuvers into a single streamlined propulsion solution. Intended for use not only on satellites but also on interplanetary drones, launcher stages, and re-entry systems, ALBIREO aims to reduce overall weight and complexity for satellite operators by eliminating the need for separate low- and high-thrust subsystems. Like ALEXIUS, it is based on MIPRONS' patented water-electrolysis technology, offering a safer, regulation-friendly alternative to hydrazine and electric propulsion for a broader range of mission profiles including carrier vehicles and extra-atmospheric drones.
