OrbitCloud
Private regional LEO satellite network for 3GPP NTN direct-to-device connectivity with edge AI inference.
Description
OrbitCloud is ReOrbit's private regional low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network, delivering 3GPP Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) standard direct-to-device (D2D) connectivity to commercial mobile devices and sensors without dependence on ground infrastructure. The network is built as a synchronized, inter-linked satellite mesh using low-latency inter-satellite links (ISLs) covering specific geographic regions, and includes onboard AI inference processing distributed across the mesh. OrbitCloud is aimed at resilient critical communications and real-time drone and sensor operations, giving operators a sovereign, regionally-scoped alternative to relying on global commercial constellations or terrestrial infrastructure for connectivity and edge compute.
