About
Silta is ReOrbit’s small-class geostationary orbit (GEO) satellite system, built to provide persistent regional coverage with a software-defined, sovereign architecture. Each Silta satellite carries a flexible payload that can be tailored per mission, supporting multiple frequency bands (Ku, Ka, X and L-band) and an onboard digital signal processor that manages multiple concurrent beams and high-volume data streams. The in-space processing reduces latency and optimizes bandwidth allocation across coverage areas. Silta is positioned for sovereign communications, high-throughput data delivery, secure all-weather connectivity and time-critical applications, targeting government, defense and civil communications operators who need independent, persistent regional coverage rather than relying on foreign-operated GEO assets.
