About SARsatX (CubeSat Arabia)

SARsatX (also known as CubeSat Arabia) is a Saudi space-tech industrial company that designs, develops and operates small satellites to perform Earth Observation (EO) using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and optical sensors. The company positions itself as an end-to-end industrial assembler, integrator and satellite manufacturer, building critical national space capabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and delivering secure, timely, actionable imagery to defense and strategic sectors, with a target turnaround of imagery within four hours of a tasking request.

SARsatX is building the EarthLife platform, a mission-tasking and analytics layer that lets customers submit on-demand imaging requests and receive AI-processed geospatial intelligence for agriculture, environment, maritime, mining, infrastructure, urban planning and defense applications. Its core hardware line is the EarthLife satellite platform carrying SAR and optical payloads, validated in part through the airborne SSX-1 SAR demonstrator. The company is working toward a planned constellation of 16 SAR/optical satellites aimed at full operational capacity by 2027, emphasizing high revisit rates and regionally-tailored coverage across the Middle East and Africa.

Founded by a team with backgrounds in space technology, Earth observation and data-driven decision-making, SARsatX has been recognized at regional innovation events including 3rd place at the Entrepreneurship World Cup global finals (Biban 2025), the ROSHNEXT Visionaries Bootcamp, and 1st place in the environment track of Start Smart 2023. The company has signed cooperation agreements with organizations such as Antaris and Nara Space, and is supported by the Saudi space and innovation ecosystem (KACST, Saudi Space Agency, Misk, NTDP).
