Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) Space Systems is a privately-held American aerospace company with over 60 years of heritage and contributions to more than 500 successful space missions. SNC is best known for the Dream Chaser spaceplane, a reusable lifting-body vehicle selected by NASA under the Commercial Resupply Services 2 (CRS-2) contract to deliver cargo to and from the International Space Station. Dream Chaser can deliver up to 5,500 kg of pressurized cargo and return science experiments with a gentle 1.5g reentry before landing on conventional runways.
The company has developed over 4,000 space system components and technologies including attitude control systems, propulsion systems, and avionics flown on numerous NASA and commercial missions. SNC has supported iconic programs including Hubble Space Telescope servicing missions and space shuttle systems.

The Dream Chaser Cargo Module is an expendable unpressurized cargo carrier that attaches to the tail of the Dream Chaser spaceplane. It provides additional cargo volume for supplies bound for the ISS that do not need to return to Earth, delivering up to 3,500 kg of unpressurized cargo such as external payloads, replacement hardware, and disposal items.
