Ground Station as a Service
Description
Spacecomm Ground Station as a Service is a scalable, fully managed ground station solution for small satellite missions in Low Earth Orbit. The service allows satellite operators to outsource their ground segment entirely, eliminating the cost and complexity of building and operating a dedicated ground station.
The ground stations are located in central Poland, at the easternmost position of EU-based ground service providers, giving optimal geometry for first and farewell contacts with LEO satellites passing over Europe. The stations support VHF, UHF, and S-band uplink and downlink with all polarizations including RHCP and LHCP. Precision tracking is provided down to 0.1 degrees in both azimuth and elevation.
Each band is equipped with Low Noise Preamplifiers to maximize link margin. SDR-based transceivers enable flexible waveform support, and the system is compatible with GNU Radio Companion, Ubuntu, and Windows 10. Fast internet connectivity allows data to be transferred directly to the client's own cloud infrastructure.
The service includes TT&C support, online session scheduling, uplink of telecommands, and downlink of mission health parameters. It is available 24/7 and can serve as a primary or redundant ground station for missions of any duration.
