Mission Control & Mission Planner Software

Spacecomm Mission Control and Mission Planner is a client-server satellite operations software suite developed by Spacecomm for use with their ground station network. It enables satellite operators to manage all phases of their mission from a remote Control Panel without the need for a dedicated operations team on site.

The Mission Planner component allows operators to schedule passes and sessions in advance, queue tasks for execution, and define mission milestones. The Mission Control component handles real-time operations: sending telecommands to the satellite, receiving and displaying mission events, recording telemetry, and managing mission health parameters.

The client-server architecture allows the operator to connect from anywhere to the Spacecomm infrastructure, with data stored on Spacecomm servers or routed directly to the client’s own cloud. For critical mission events, the system supports voice coordination via integrated VoIP, enabling direct real-time communication between the satellite operator and the Spacecomm ground station team.

The software integrates with the full Spacecomm GSaaS infrastructure and supports missions of any duration, from short-term experiments to multi-year LEO operations.
