About ThrustMe

ThrustMe is a Paris-based propulsion startup founded in 2017 from École Polytechnique and CNRS. The company developed the NPT30 iodine ion thruster — the first iodine electric propulsion system to fly in space (on a Beihangkongshi-1 satellite in 2020). Iodine is stored as solid at ambient temperature, eliminating the need for pressure vessels, which dramatically simplifies nanosatellite integration. ThrustMe also makes the I2T5 cold gas thruster for cubesats.
