About
The ThrustMe Passive Gas Thruster System (PGTS) is a cold gas micro-propulsion system using R134a (tetrafluoroethane) refrigerant stored as a liquid at ambient pressure. The innovative passively-regulated design eliminates pressure regulators and complex valves — propellant is self-pressurized by liquid-to-gas phase change. Miniature resistive heaters control propellant flow. Total system mass is under 1 kg including propellant, and the system has been flight-proven on multiple small satellite missions. The PGTS is ideal for attitude control and small maneuvers on nano- and micro-satellites.
