About
Space Inventor’s 16U Hyperspectral 200mm is a CubeSat satellite built in a compact 16U form factor and equipped with a cutting-edge hyperspectral 200mm telescope. The hyperspectral instrument enables broad wavelength range imaging, unlocking advanced capabilities for scientific and environmental missions. Example missions include precision agriculture monitoring for optimal crop management, environmental hazard detection such as oil spills and chemical leaks, and stellar spectroscopy for detailed star analysis. The satellite’s advanced imaging capability is aimed at delivering precise astronomy insights and environmental monitoring, targeting research institutions and environmental agencies. The satellite platform can be equipped with a range of Space Inventor modules, including an L-Band Patch 1 antenna (PATCH1-L-R) suited for GPS, satellite communication, and remote sensing applications; an S-Band 2×2 patch antenna array (PATCH2X2-S-R), a compact configuration of four antenna elements for the S-band frequency range; an S-Band single patch antenna (PATCH1-S-R), a compact single-port antenna designed for the 2025-2110 MHz or 2200-2290 MHz S-band frequency range, used in satellite communication and radar systems; an X-Band Patch 4 antenna (PATCH4X4-X-R) providing exceptional performance for advanced radar systems, satellite communication, and high-frequency applications requiring precise directional control and enhanced signal strength; a Battery module; and a Power Distribution Unit for managing onboard power. The product page provides a mechanical drawing of the satellite and lists starting pricing.
