6U AIS/VDES Satellite Platform

The Space Inventor 6U AIS/VDES satellite platform is engineered to enhance maritime communication and navigation. It comes equipped with Space Inventor’s high-performing 3-element crossed deployable yagi antenna. This platform aims to elevate the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of maritime operations and infrastructure by utilizing VDES satellite technology. The satellite platform can integrate various modules, including different patch antennas for L-band, S-band, and X-band frequencies, as well as a battery and a Power Distribution Unit (PDU). The PATCH1-L-R is an L-Band Patch 1 antenna suitable for GPS, satellite communication, and remote sensing. The PATCH2X2-S-R is an S-Band Patch 2×2 antenna array, a compact yet powerful configuration for S-band operations. The PATCH1-S-R is an S-Band Patch 1 antenna, a compact single-port antenna designed for 2025-2110 MHz or 2200-2290 MHz S-band frequency ranges, widely used in satellite communication and radar systems. The PATCH4X4-X-R is an X-Band Patch 4 antenna, providing exceptional performance for advanced radar systems, satellite communication, and high-frequency applications requiring precise directional control and enhanced signal strength.
