About

The AST-500 is Accord Software & Systems’ indigenous multi-GNSS baseband receiver System-on-Chip designed for space, defense, UAV, and tracking applications. It can concurrently process any two GNSS frequency bands (L1, L2, L5, S), enabling dual-band reception for improved accuracy and ionospheric error mitigation across GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and GAGAN. The chip integrates a dual-core 440 MHz CPU with floating-point unit, 8 Mbits SRAM, and 32 KB battery-backed RAM. Multiple peripheral interfaces (3 UARTs, 2 SPIs, QSPI, 2 I2C, 2 CAN) plus secure boot and encryption make it suitable for demanding aerospace deployments across −40°C to +85°C.
