About
The Auxiliary Payload Support Unit (APSU) is a patented, flight-proven launch sequencer developed by Adaptive Launch Solutions holding U.S. Patent No. 8,608,114. At TRL-9 maturity, it can sequence 48 independent deployment events in a single launch campaign, enabling multiple secondary payload operators to share a single launch vehicle while maintaining scheduling independence. The APSU integrates with the A-Deck adapter and is a core component of the Aquila Multi-Manifest Integrated Flight Systems family. It reduces cost per launch by enabling true multi-manifest rideshare without requiring all customers to coordinate deployment timing.
